Control Mail Delivery Time

You may need to know when your mail recipients will receive the piece so you can staff call centers.  You may also stagger mail dates so the call center can better handle the influx of calls.

  • The carrier delivers to the destinations (entries in California) on the 2nd working day after shipping
  • Once the mail reaches the entry destination, the USPS will deliver the mail
    • Two to five days after receiving at the DSCF locations
    • Three to six days after receiving at the DBMC Locations
  • You know when to staff call centers based on coordination of the mail drop dates
